At Penguin Random House UK we connect the world with the stories, ideas and writing that matter.
WriteNow aims to find, mentor and publish new writers from communities under-represented on the nation’s bookshelves. This includes writers from BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic) or LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer) communities, writers who have a disability, or come from a socio-economically marginalised background.
In September WriteNow will welcome 50 new writers at our publishing insight day in Bristol - giving you the chance to hear from literary agents and published authors like Bernardine Evaristo, Kit De Waal and Nadia Shireen. You’ll also get one-to-one feedback on your book from one of our expert editors - as well as the chance to be mentored for a year.
Applications are open until the 16 July. Follow #WriteNowLive on social for more information and visit www.write-now.live to apply.
